If one of your children has left for school, now is a great time to “adjust” their old room to a guest room and/or office type room. If you already have an extra “study” type room that you aren't using often, consider organizing it and repainting it so that it can be used as a study room for your children. Children are more inclined to study and keep their school stuff neat if they have an inviting place to do so.
