So, how do you choose a new ceiling color? Here are a few tips:
- Research – Pour yourself a hot or cold beverage of choice, then spend an hour or three browsing style ideas online.

Which Sheen Works Well for a Ceiling?
Flat paint is the tried and true sheen. Sure, it’s not very durable, but the chances are good that nobody will be walking on your ceiling!
It is, however, a choice that is consistent, forgiving, and easy to apply/touch-up. It also is less reflective, offering an understated effect.
