They say one good turn deserves another. Grateful for our strong connection to the community, Lancaster Painting gives back every year by donating $5000 of painting services to a local individual in need through our Paint It Forward initiative.
And the Winner Is…
Each December, the entire staff of Lancaster Painting votes to choose one individual to Paint It Forward. But this year was a little bit different. This year’s program did double duty when the recipient chosen, a member of Jessica’s House , decided to pay it forward and donate her gifted services, as her home had been recently painted.
Talk about a feel-good on top of a feel-good!
Jessica’s House
It’s all about community. About helping each other, and finding joy in that connection. That’s what Jessica’s House is all about, and it was only fitting when friends and family gathered recently to give a little love back to the center that has given so much to the community. Jessica’s House serves as a warm and welcoming haven for folks of all ages struggling to deal with grief and the loss of a loved one. Their services are offered at no cost to the community, and they rely on donations to fund their programs. Helping Jessica’s House dovetails into Lancaster Painting’s mission to offer tangible help to local folks, and we couldn’t wait to get started.
A Community That Paints Together
Once the plan was made, everyone was eager for the arrival of spring. Outfitted in matching blue tee shirts, with brushes in hand and smiles on faces, the team got to work with some special volunteers to give the grief counseling center an even more welcoming feel with new paint. Bigs and littles painted side by side with one goal in mind: support for one another through service to community.

"We love giving back. This is our 8th annual give back and we love helping everywhere in the community. It's even more special to us that it's a place that serves the community. We're giving back, but Jessica's House also provides a service for people in need too for free for the community," said Jennifer Gonzalez of Lancaster Painting.
