Before and After! Garage Floor Coating in Mountain House, CA

Our team was recently invited to this Mountain House home to take a closer look at their garage floor. Overall it was in good condition, but definitely not in the attractive category. It was unprotected, vulnerable, and average.
So, we got to work!
Our Concrete Garage Floor Coating Process
Here’s a closer look at our process:
- First, we applied a specialized mender to fill any cracks or minor areas of damage (hey, it’s a garage floor, so it happens!).
- We then ground the surface with our state-of-the-art, double-filtered grinder. This creates a clean slate, removing old stains and residue while developing a smooth profile for the coating to come.
- Next, we applied a polyurea basecoat that creates an incredible chemical and mechanical bond with your concrete (this is why it’s 4x stronger than epoxy systems).
- The chips (of your choice) are then broadcasted - in this case it was a Domino color blend.
- We vacuumed up any loose or vertical-standing flakes.
- The polyaspartic topcoat was then rolled out.
- Within 12 hours you can walk on the surface, and within 2 days you can be back to full activity!
