As you more than likely know (unless you’re new to our blog), we love showcasing interior and exterior painting work that we complete here in the Central Valley area. It’s fun to show what we can do, but it’s also worthwhile to show homeowners like you what other folks are doing, and maybe offer a few tips and bits of inspiration along the way.
This particular exterior painting project was especially fun for us. Why? Well, it belongs to a member of our team!
Exterior Painting and Dry Rot Repairs
Jennifer had three primary goals that drove her project:
- Update the style
- Repair the dry rot that had worked its way around the chimney and one window in particular
- Create a refreshed appearance
In addition to painting, one of our carpenters here at Lancaster Painting is also building several awnings that will contribute to the updated style of this beautiful home.
So, how about the details? You know, just in case you absolutely love this color too.
- Body color - DEW341 Swiss Coffee (Dunn Edwards paint). This was suggested by our color consultant, and Jennifer ran with it.
- Front door - It’s not completely apparent in this particular photo, but Jennifer also asked for a teal door, just to create an extra pop of color. She chose 9052 Blithe Blue; this beautiful choice lends a stylish, welcoming, and even fun vibe to her home’s entrance.
