How Do You Create a Distressed Cabinet Finish?
Warm and strategically weathered cabinets not only are visually interesting, but they summon a comforting, homey vibe. They wear well too.
Our client wanted to steer clear of the more typical white distressed finish, so they chose Skyline View from PPG. A very pretty color!
For both the staircase and the cabinets, we followed the same procedure:
- Washed the existing, stained surface
- Applied one coat
- Sanded carefully and strategically to achieve just the look our customer wanted
The result really is unique, isn’t it?
